dollhome

This miniature represents the home I grew up in, the place where I learned to walk, talk, paint, and make. While the house itself was often messy and imperfect, it was full of warmth, safety, and love, shaped by the people and memories inside it.
Constructed from cardboard boxes, wood fragments, fabric scraps, and assorted found materials, the sculpture captures both the physical and emotional textures of home. Visible repairs, layered materials, and small imperfections reflect the lived-in quality of the space, emphasizing comfort and presence over perfection.
By presenting the house in miniature, the work invites close inspection and quiet reflection. It celebrates the ordinary and the personal, showing that the significance of a home comes not from its architecture, but from the life, creativity, and love it holds.
